The trail took place last weekend - September 16th and 17th - and saw the whole of Melbourne full of exhibitions, arts work in unusual places, music, food and a wonderful community spirit. Its such a well organised festival and I know it takes such a vast amount of time and energy by many people to make this happen.
HUGE THANKS to Melbourne Community Care who hosted me, they are a great organisation doing some vital work and they made me so very welcomed, letting me totally take over their lovely building on Derby Road, I really valued all their support, kind words and time (and also the home made biscuits!).
Huge thanks also to everyone who came along, I had some wonderful conversations with people about creativity, stories, plants, woodland, walking, discovering, education, books and so much more. A vital part of festivals like this is the opportunity to make new connections, to chat with people, to share ideas and to discover new things; I really value the conversations and dialogue I was able to have with people, forming those connections is really important.
